BEN EVENT: Growth Opportunities in the Recession

BEN feature
11 September, 2008 - 18:00 - 11 September, 2008 - 21:00

The next BEN event has now been scheduled, details below:

Co-hosted by University of the West of England

In any economic downturn entrepreneurs are given plenty of advice on how to survive: where to cut costs, and how to retrench the business in order to come out the other side. Yet is a recession actually the time to invest, or at least to use market conditions to your advantage? Staff may be easier to retain; the competition less active; suppliers demanding less of a premium.

This event will be resolutely upbeat (!), and explore strategies for success in an economic downturn. Hear from entrepreneurs who have bucked the trend, as well as from other experts who will explain ways to take advantage of reduced prices and a less crowded market place. Fortune favours the brave, and tough economic times can also benefit the bold, and strategically focused, entrepreneur.
